Sunday night;
Started our Sunday morning with breakfast at a local Patisserie with Amy. Had a wonderful visit and glad and thankful she is feeling so much better. She even did a 10 mile run last night.

Had a great service today. There was a neighbor lady that we could see through our window on the second floor, that was singing and dancing as she listened to the worship.  Also, 2 ladies that the church visited last night, came to service with their baby. Seeds are being planted in Senegal, now we need to pray for workers to come. One of the visitation groups prayed for a family with a sickness, building relationships through prayer. A lot of Muslims allow us to pray for them and some even request it.

One thing we have learned over here about the Muslims is that they are more likely to accept Christianity if they have a dream about it. They don't believe in miracles, because they think their "Holy men" can do miracles, but if they have a dream and it can be explained by a believer they are more likely to accept it. Reminds me of the scripture from Joel, "In the last days, old men shall dream dreams and young men shall see visions". Exciting to know we are in the last days..

Took our afternoon walk to downtown. Met a man in a house next door that Bryan said taught him Wolof when he came to St. Louis. Bryan said the man was the "Chef Cartier" for the community which is a high honor and also we met his mother too. They were very happy that we stopped, and the man offered to teach me Wolof and I told him I would see him later.

Went and visited with my usual friends, and had good interaction with them.

After church, we took family pictures of Pastor Omer and we are going to surprise them and have them printed and give to them. They were so happy.

Peggy and I got to visit with a man, whom we have seen a lot at DouDou's shop, and while there a talibe boy came and sat down next to Peggy. We saw a lot of talibe boys on the streets today with their teachers, learning the Koran. There was some sort of Muslim meeting in town last night and there were meetings and people all over the streets with lots of prayers and loud speakers throughout the night.

Well, tomorrow is an easy day for us so we are going to go to Pastor Omer's house and hopefully I can finish his electrical installation for his new living room. Then it is off to Dakar on Wednesday to help with some work there for a missionary couple. Pray for us, Dakar is nothing but hustle and bustle big city life, and I really have got used to the laid back life here in St. Louis.

Good night and sleep tight till we meet again,,love

Ken and Peggy
