Saturday night, 8:10pm and what a busy day.
Got up this morning, and walked to the center. It was a cool breezy morning, and we enjoy walking over the river and to the center.

Had fun with the kiddos, playing Velcro ball and basketball with 2 of the kids. The craft for today was pipe cleaner rings and the kids really enjoyed them.

We then went to the school to hang some coat/ backpack hooks that I had made here thanks to my sweet mom..The kids and teachers will be so happy to have less clutter in the classrooms, thanks to mom's donation.

Visited with Pastor Omer at the school for a while, and he and his son Itito helped hang the hooks and were so happy. Tonight is door to door evangelism and we are praying for 1 family to be open to the gospel, which is difficult in this society. But God is able.

Nelson and Miate came home with us and we had soft tacos with grilled onions and bell peppers and fresh tomatoes good ground beef and it was good. Topped it off with some ice cream.

Peggy and I then went for our evening walk to talk to our hardware man and to our carpenter, DouDou and they are both so happy to see us even though our communication is limited. Yesterday our hardware man had a bad toothache and a tooth pulled and was not feeling good. We told him yesterday we would pray for him and today we asked him how he was doing and he said he was doing good.  We reminded him that we prayed for him and he was happy.

I am now in the guitar repair business. Pastor Omer had bought a guitar (no one knows why since no one can play it) and the neck got broken off. So I brought it home and was able to repair it,,but not being musically inclined I don't know how it will affect the sound. Well, after all I guess since no one knows how to play it anyway, anything will sound good. We will see.

Next week we leave for Dakar on Wednesday to work 4 or 5 days with a missionary there and to help them in their mission and their home.

May not have a blog from Wednesday on, so don't worry. We are still here and doing great...

Love to all,, and thanks mom for the hooks.
